I have over twenty years of experience teaching and leading maths in primary and secondary schools, locally and internationally. Establishing Granite Rose Education in 2013, I provide bespoke maths tuition for 11+, KS3, MYP, GCSE and IGCSE with excellent outcomes.
I have an outstanding record for supporting learners: from fast learners seeking to be stretched to students with difficulties learning maths. I am a working memory specialist and support learners with maths anxiety and neurodiversities including dyscalculia, dyslexia, autism and ADHD.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Neuroscience and Education, awarded Distinction from Bristol University. I have written and presented a Master of Arts 'Inclusive Education' programme on Identifying and Addressing Difficulties in Learning Mathematics, and provide training for teachers on the teaching of mathematics, the developing adolescent brain, working memory, and the Science of Learning.
